Howdy! My name is Paula Paredes, and I am the proud owner of A&J Sweet Confections, a licensed cottage bakery based in Stead (Reno), Nevada. While I am a mother to two under two – A and J – and love my family dearly, I was never much of a cook. However, after my son Jaxton fell ill and I had to leave my job to care for him, I discovered my love for baking. After successfully making Sugar Cookies from scratch for the first time ever, I fell in love with the craft and decided to start my own baking business.
